Our History

Stephen trained in Stoy Haywards' (now BDO) tax department and qualified in 1970. In 1973, Stephen Starr Accountants set up in Kensington and established a varied client base of individuals as well as small and medium sized businesses. In 1974, the business transferred to the community of Watford, Hertfordshire. This strengthened the firm's ideals of a friendly and personalised service by moving from the hustle and bustle of the city to friendly suburbia.
